dELiA*s first deployed FileNexus® in its Accounts Payable department. It captures, manages and archives all invoices and creates an automated workflow for electronic approvals. Using unique barcodes, FileNexus® routes the invoice data into the company’s Multiview accounting system, pulling in required information like vendor name, invoice total, due date, and PO number. During scheduled accounting system queries, FileNexus® retrieves cheque run data like cheque number, date, amount, etc., and automatically updates dELiA*s invoices. With FileNexus® workflow and reporting functions, companies can easily manage and track the processes for any department and securely distribute data electronically from any source.

Today, all of dELiA*s HR and Legal documents are also stored and archived in FileNexus®. Mission critical documents— such as timesheets, weekly service records, monthly leave reports, employee evaluations, contracts, leases and agreements—are indexed using key values like staff ID number, week-ending date, or contract number. Additional related index values are populated from an external data source. With appropriate security rights, staff are able to search by any index to access any type of document or file.
